Fall outfit

It's a fall outfit, but I've been getting rusty on kimono recently, and wanted to put on kimono.
The green obijime is supposed to match the little both of green on the fans.
It took me awhile, and my arms got tired, which I'm not used to. I just haven't worn kimono in a long time. :)

Saiban-shi pt. II and Kimono

New pictures, yay!
The kimono is wool, with little butterflies woven into it. So, I wore a haori that had butterflies and falling momiji on it.
Sometimes, I don't like wearing tabi all the time. Despite kimono being so strict now, I really enjoy wearing them the way that I like. So, when I feel like not wearing tabi, then I'm not going to wear tabi!

For Saiban, I wanted it to seem like she stole some new clothing recently. Next year, I think I'll plan out my outfit a little bit better!

Things I need to see.

Rarely, I watch Television.
Even more Rare, anime. I don't really watch it much, though, I did as a child.

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
A dark comedy about a depressed teacher whose attempts to commit suicide are constantly foiled and his 32 troubled students.

Fairy Tail
Celestial wizard Lucy wants to join the Fairy Tail, a club for the most powerful wizards. But instead, her ambitions land her in the clutches of a gang of unsavory pirates led by a devious magician. Her only hope is Natsu, a strange boy she happens to meet on her travels. Natsu's not your typical hero - but he just might be Lucy's best hope.

Photos from Halloween 2008! I was a character from a book I was writing.
Now, this year, I'm going to do it again (with different clothes and whatnot.)
She's a vigilante who kills only criminals, but the law is after her anyway.

I'll post photos tonight. :)

Fall Wardrobe

Today, I'm switching out what's hanging in my closet from Summer to Fall. It's always such a long and hard job, but It's worth it when you're done!
Sorry for the lack of pictures, I've been at school so much lately. I think I'm going to wear a kimono today.

Also, I wrote a paper for school, in which the topic was insecurity. It was very long, but easy to write. It felt good getting all that stuff out.

Am I comfortable enough?

Weirdly enough, I'm slowly becoming comfortable with the idea of maybe wearing kimono to school.
There are people who dress just as oddly, and they are hippies, goths, or just generally outlandish people.
Maybe it wouldn't be so bad. It's something im still hopefully working toward, haha~

It seems that my plan to wear kimono to school has come to a grinding halt.

I'm taking a very early class due to enrolling in an honors program at school, and I'm not sure if I'm very willing to wake up and put a kimono on.
I'll ease my way into it. Then we shall see.

Will I wear a kimono tomorrow?

I'm not so sure.
It's time to be brave. How will I ever wear them to school if i don't start now?

Subtle colors

Despite the fact that I'm young, I really enjoy the earthy colors of browns. It's subtle, but I like to think I'm a subtle person. :}

Maybe not. haha!

Plaid kimono!

This is a nice plaid hitoe, I'm not sure what it's made of. Something Synthetic, i think. It's really short, actually, but I'm lucky that I fit in it. The sleeve are long on it, though, I don't like long sleeves much.
I finally can tie that obi, I never liked it very much, But I think im going to keep it. It's kind of cute!

It's really airy and comfortable, and I really like the fabric <3

See ya later!

OH NO!! (T^T)!!!

I just caught my yukata sleeve on something and it didn't just pull the seams out, it ripped the sleeve!
It ripped right on the grain..!! Can I save it?? *Cries*

It's ruineeedd!!

This was the Yukata that I was supposed to wear on Kendo day. Obviously, because of the rain, I was unable.
My bow is a little crooked, but it refused to cooperate! That's alright, I guess.

This might be the outfit I wear on the first day of School. (*A*)/

Ah, Rain.

Becasue it began to rain before kendo, I decided not to wear a yukata. *Sigh*
But, that's okay.
It's sad, though. Kendo Practice isn't next week! Gah, what'll I do?

I've had some trouble lately folding Hakama. I can't fold them right!
I have to save for Kendo Bogu, so I think I might start selling a few kimono items that I don't wear. Fun!

Post later!

I'm not a big fan of road trips. I don't like them. I especially don't like them if I'm going somewhere I'd rather not be.
I'm an unusual person. I don't like beaches very much, and I don't enjoy the ocean. I actually enjoy cities more.

Otherwise, I got to see my grandmother after many years and that was nice.
I also went to a Japanese restaurant and it was wonderful! There were kimono on the walls and Shibori noren.

Oh! And recently, I have an obsession with:
Saitou Hajime
And Susumu Yamazaki!

Yay! :D
Anyway, today I'm going to wear a yukata! Very exciting. I'll make sure to take pictures.
